Melbourne CBD: Craft Cubed August Meet

As part of the Craft Cubed festival.... come along and learn to make this simple and cute little bunny out of just a simple knitted or crocheted square!
Make him big or small, for a son, daughter, nephew or niece to snuggle, or fill him with Potpourri or beans and put him to use keeping clothes smelling nice or holding those all important papers!
The possibilities are endless :o)

See tutorials below to learn how!

Not sure how to crochet or knit? No worries! Just bring along the materials and the lovely Brown Owl Ladies will aid you along the path to craftiness! In the meantime, here are some great beginner knitting and crochet tutorials:

Date:              Wednesday 27th August
Time:              6.30pm (usually run til about 9pm)
Location:        The Parlour @ Madame Brussels
                        Level 3, 59-63 Bourke St Melbourne 3000

Bring:              Wool and appropriate knitting needles (will tell you on the ball)
Sewing needle (suitable for wool)
Filling material (hobby fill, potpourri, barley, etc)
Pom Poms or something for a tail (can’t find any you like – make one out of wool!)

Cost:                No fee for attendance, but you may like to sample the delicious food and drinks on offer as a thank you for the great space

RSVP:             In the comments section below

Feel free to create the squares at home and make them into bunnies on the night, or come along and do everything – a bunny can surely be created from scratch in the three hours along with time for a chicken sandwich or two! Or just come along with whatever you would like to create and enjoy a chat with a bunch of lovely and like minded ladies :o)

Looking forward to seeing you all there!

Lee
